THE SILK SLEEP MASK THAT NEVER TOUCHES YOUR EYES
Eight hours a night, the side of your face is pressed into a pillow. LUNVEIL takes that pressure off the one part of it that cannot take it.

It is seven in the morning and the light in the bathroom is not kind. You lean in, you look, and there it is again — the same shadow, the same heaviness, the same face that says you were up half the night when you were not. You went to bed at eleven. You slept.
So you do what you always do. Concealer, then a second layer over the first, then the ring light angled up for the video call anyway. You have the eye cream. You have the patches, the roller in the fridge, the serum that cost more than the rest of the shelf put together. By lunchtime it has all settled into the same crease and you have stopped checking.
Imagine instead a morning where there is nothing to fix. Nothing to pat in, nothing to layer over, nothing to angle away from the window. You glance at the mirror the way you glance at a mirror when there is nothing wrong with it — briefly — and then you get on with your day.
LUNVEIL is designed for exactly that.
THE PART EVERY CREAM MISSES
The skin around your eye is under half a millimetre thick. It is the thinnest skin you own, it has almost no oil glands of its own, and it is the first place on your face to show what the night did to it.
When you sleep on your side, the weight of your head goes through the pillow into that skin and stays there for hours. Lymph does not drain out of a compressed area — it pools. That is the puffiness that is already there when you open your eyes, before the day has done anything at all.
A cotton pillowcase makes it worse twice over. It grips the skin and drags it into the same folds night after night, and it is absorbent, so the eye cream you pressed in at eleven is largely in the pillowcase by two.
LUNVEIL's contour cups sit on the brow bone and the cheekbone and bridge the gap between them. The pillow presses on the mask. Your eye area touches nothing.
SEE HOW IT WORKS

TOTAL DARKNESS
Melatonin is switched off by light, and the switch is more sensitive than it feels. A streetlamp through a gap in the curtain, a standby LED, the sky getting light at half past four in June — all of it registers, even through closed eyelids.
Most masks leak in the same place. The flat strip of fabric bridges your nose and leaves two triangles of daylight underneath it. You do not consciously see them. Your body does.
LUNVEIL is moulded to close that gap, and 23-momme silk is dense enough that no light passes through the fabric itself. The room does not dim. It goes out.
Deeper sleep is also what the skin around your eyes is waiting for. The repair that matters happens in the stretches of sleep you are currently being pulled out of.
I WANT THATAT SEVEN IN THE MORNING
Puffiness under the eye is fluid that did not drain. Drainage in that area is passive — there is no pump behind it — so it depends entirely on the tissue not being squashed.
Take the pressure off and the fluid moves the way it is supposed to, all night, instead of sitting there until you stand up and gravity does the job eight hours late.
The shadow goes the same way. A good deal of what reads as a dark circle is not pigment at all — it is a swollen ridge casting a shadow onto the hollow beneath it. Flatten the ridge and the shadow has nothing to fall on.
It is the difference between a morning that starts with a repair job and a morning that just starts.

STOP FEEDING YOUR PILLOWCASE
Cotton is absorbent by design. That is why it makes good towels and bad pillowcases. The retinol, the peptides, the eye cream that cost more than the rest of the shelf — cotton pulls a good share of it off your skin within the first couple of hours.
Then the friction takes the rest. Every time you turn over, the weave scrubs at whatever is left.
Silk does neither. The fibre is smooth, so there is nothing to grip and drag, and it is far less absorbent than cotton, so what you applied is still on your skin working at four in the morning.
And because the contour cups keep the mask off the eye area entirely, the one place you most wanted the product to stay is the one place nothing touches at all.
ADD IT TO MY ROUTINEThe cups rest on bone, not on skin. Whatever your sleeping position, there is a pocket of still air over each eye all night.
The bridge is moulded to the shape of a face rather than laid flat across it, so the gap every flat mask leaves is closed.
Silk is smooth and barely absorbent. It does not lift your night cream off the way a cotton pillowcase does.
23-momme silk moves heat and moisture away instead of holding it, and the cups leave air space rather than sealing foam onto your face.

We did not set out to make a beauty product. We set out to fix a mask.
Every flat mask has the same two faults, and they are both structural. It lies on your eyelids, so it presses on the softest tissue on your face for eight hours. And it bridges your nose in a straight line, which a nose is not, so it leaks light exactly where you notice it least and it matters most.
Moulded cups fix both at once, and once you have felt the difference you do not go back to a flat one. Everything else — the silk weight, the strap, the colours — follows from that.
We make one mask. If it is not right for you, ninety nights is long enough to find out, and the return postage is ours.
— The LUNVEIL team
Yes — it is the sleeping position it was designed around. The band is wide, so the pressure is spread instead of concentrated on one line, and the strap adjusts far enough to sit firmly without gripping. The cups take the pillow's weight; your face does not.
The opposite, in our experience. Foam and polyester hold heat against the skin. Mulberry silk moves heat and moisture away from it, and the contour cups leave real air space around your eyes rather than sealing padding onto them.
Momme is how the weight of silk is measured. Most silk sold for bedding is 19 momme; 22–25 is the heavy end. At 23 momme the weave is dense enough to be genuinely opaque and heavy enough to hang rather than cling.
It removes one specific cause: the compression of that area against a pillow for hours at a time, which stops fluid draining out of it overnight. If that is what is behind your puffiness, taking the pressure off is the thing that changes it. If the cause is structural or genetic, a mask will not change that, and we would rather say so.
Yes. Nothing rests on your lashes at any point — the cups arch over them with clear space underneath, which is the same reason it does not press on the lid.
