Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Starly collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Starly is operated by EDCOMMERCE LIMITED, company registration number 78809436, Unit 2A, 17/F Glenealy Tower, No.1 Glenealy Central, Hong Kong. We are the data controller for the data described here.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number if you give one, and the contents and value of your order. We never see or store your full card number — payment is handled by Shopify Payments and the card networks.

When you browse the shop: standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you reached us. If you consent to marketing cookies we also use this to measure and target advertising.

When you email us: your address and whatever is in the message, kept so we can answer and so we have a record if you come back to us.

Why we use it

To take payment, pick, pack and deliver your order, answer your emails, handle returns and refunds, keep proper accounting records, prevent fraud, and — only where you have consented — to send marketing email and measure advertising.

Who we share it with

Shopify (our shop and checkout platform), our payment providers, the carrier delivering your parcel, and our email provider. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records for seven years, as UK and Hong Kong tax law requires. Marketing consent until you withdraw it. Support emails for two years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email loominouscontact@gmail.com and we reply within one working day and act within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the shop and the basket. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
